Happy New Year

Happy New Year

So how many of us has made a New Year Resolution I wonder?

I must admit I have and I’m hoping it’s an easy one to keep as my resolution is to get back into the swing of blogging which I have rather neglected of late.

So we’re kicking off with some news of our fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We’re starting the year by donating all the profits from sales of this print to the charity. You can buy it in sizes ranging from 6″ x 4″ up to A3 and all you have to do is visit our website http://www.imjphotoart.co.uk (or alternatively just click on the picture!) and you won;t be able to miss it.

It’s a HDR picture taken earlier in the year of Cardiff Bay and would look great on any wall or as a smaller print on your sideboard or shelf.

With prices starting at just £4 why don’t you treat yourself and help this fantastic charity while you do it.

Mermaid Quay and Cardiff Bay

Mermaid Quay and Cardiff Bay

Tonight – two for the price of one! A second blog post to make up for the lack of posts in recent months.

This is another Cardiff picture taken across Cardiff Bay onto Mermaid Quay.

Again the HDR effect has really enhanced the scene.

As always, if you want to visit my website just click on the picture.

Mermaid Quay – Cardiff

Mermaid Quay - Cardiff

I have become very behind with my blogging so thought I had better get moving and get a blog post on!

I have stayed with the Cardiff theme as it is the most recent photography that I have done – yes I’ve even got behind with that too!

This is a vibrant HDR shot of Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay. The sky was perfect for a bit of drama and has been captured in a very nice way even if I do say so myself.

If you’d like to have a look at some more of my work just click on the picture to be transported off to my website.

Cardiff Bay

Cardiff Bay

Blimey, it’s been a while since I did a blog post so I thought I’d better get myself sorted!

Well I’m back with a burst of colour and a picture from one of my favourite places – Cardiff.

This is from a trip last weekend when I thought it was about time I did some decent pictures of Cardiff Bay or Bae Caerdydd to give it the welsh name.

The HDR effect has really enhanced the sky and colours of the area and proves what a beautiful place Cardiff is.

For more of my work just click on the picture and you’ll be taken to my website.

Bay of Romance

Bay of Romance

Today’s post is a picture that I took in Cardiff Bay a couple of weekends ago.

As I was strolling around the Bay I noticed that there were some boats cruising and on one of them there appeared to be a couple having some wedding pictures taken on one of the boats.

This seemed like a very romantic scene so I thought I get a shot of it.

This picture was taken on 4th May 2013 so if you happen to be reading this and just happen to know who this might be then get them to take a look!

If you click on the picture you’ll be taken to our website where you’ll be able to view some more of our work.

Cardiff Celebration

Cardiff Celebration

Today’s post is hot off the presses and a picture I took at the weekend while I was in Cardiff.

Unbeknown to me when I planned my trip was that Cardiff City FC would win the football league and be promoted to the Premiership and then hold a victory parade and party on the weekend that I was there!

Cardiff Bay was buzzing and this is a picture of the afternoon when the crowds had only just started to gather and one of the bands was playing.

I hope you like it and congratulations to Cardiff City FC 🙂

Across The Bay

Across The Bay

My blog post today is called Across the Bay as that is exactly what it is! This is another one that I’ve dug out of the archives and it is a view from Mermaid Quay across Cardiff Bay in Wales.

Cardiff is one of my favourite places to spend time and I always look forward to going there.

This picture was taken a couple of years ago as the view is pre-Dr Who Experience which you would now see on the left of the picture.

This May Bank Holiday I’m doing a sponsored walk around the perimeter of the bay which equates to approx 13km. I’m doing it in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and if any of you would like to help me raise money you can click on the picture which will direct you to my JustGiving Page
